LODGE MEETING

, The fortnightly ■ meeting of the .U.A.0.D., Pride of Brooklyn, No. 58, was held .on Thursday. A.D. Bro. Hunter was in the chair. Reports were given by "V.A. Bro. Cronk, -vvho visited the ladies' night held by Coronation and Excelsior Lodges, and A.D. Bro. Hunter, on a visit to Melrose. It waß proposed by J.P.A. Bro. Curzons, and seconded by Bro. Boddy, that an official visit be paid to Excelsior Lodge on May 8, to play a friendly . game of 600. During the evening a ballot >vas taken for the election of Bros. Gauntlett and M'Laughlitt as honorary members of the lodge, which resulted in tlieirbeing duly elected; It was suggested that a ladies' night should be held in the near-., future, to help on the interests of the lodge during the winter months. D.P. Bro. Abel and P.A. Bro. liubinstein (Pacific) visited the lodge.
