DOMINION AWARD DEFERRED. By Telesre-Dh—Fress Association. ' - Dunedin, April 27. At the Timber Workers' Conference the question of drafting a schedule of olaims for a Dominion Award was held over till next conference, and it was decided that \,he secretary ask the Arbitration Court to arrange for the expiry of all awards in the industrv at the same time, thus enabling the federation to proceed for a Dominion Award at the end of 1917. The executive for the ensuing year is to be located in Christchurch, and the next conference is to be held in Wellington during Easter, 1917. Tho placing of the conference's der cision before the Ministry was left to Messrs. Phelan (Auckland), Hynes I (Wellington), and Hunter (secretary).
