Suburban work includes work performed nt a distance of over one mile and a half from the employer's place of business, instead of two miles ns previously. The scope of the award is extended from thirty to fifty miles from the G.P.0., Wellington. The hours clause (44 per week), overtime, preference, and other clauses remain the same, /flic award is to come into operation on Juno 1. The case will be heard by the Conciliation Council.on May 8. ' Assessors nominated by die union are: Messrs W. Cooper, F. Carnwell, and F. Wallis.
