Mr. Massey's message for Anzac Day to the "Weekly Dispatch" says: "New Zealand is more than ever determined to stand by Britain and her Allies against a cruel, merciless and vindictive foe." The newspapers emphasise London's desire to be associated with Australians and New Zealanders' celebration of their i sons' services and sacrifices on behalf of tho Empire by cheering' the survivors of the Gallipoli ordeal. Major Dawson leads the New Zealanders in the procession. Dr. Te Rangihiroa wrote to Sir Thomas.Mackenzie saying he was proud tho Maoris had been able to do their share.
