The Camp Commandant at Featherston regrets to announce lhe d'eath of Gunnor Chilton, 12ft.' N.Z.F.A-., accidentally killed at Auckland. Ser g eSn t-Major Heathcote, 12th Reinforcements, N.Z.F.A., has been appointed 2nd lieutenant on probation.
Captain E. G. Fraser and Lieut. V. R. - o. Scott, • who liavo been on sick leave, have returned to Featherston camp. • , The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Corpl. L L Marshall, 12th N.Z.F.A., to be orderlyroom clerk; Sergt.-Major Purvis Hay, Cyclist Company, to be company ser-geant-major; Q.M.S. E. F. Bisney, Cyclist Company, to be company quarter-master-sergeant Sergt. A. Morrison, Cyclist Company to be record sergeant; Pte. E. J. Lamb, Army Pay Office, to be pay sergeant; Pte. F.-G. Patten, Pte. T. A. Snelling, Pte. J. Lomae H Company, 13th, to be lance-corporals; Corpl. J. Nolan, Headquarters Staff, Mounted Instructor's Office, to be sergeant; Pte.' N..W. Jellyman, C Company, 13th, to be lance-corporal; Bombdr. A. R. Cook, Bombdr. E. 0. Booth, 13th, N.Z.F.A., to be corporals; Gunner C. H. Pullyn, Gunner W. B. O'Reilly, Gunner G. J.
