MINERS' WAGES

INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT SIGNED. Br Telegraph—Press Association. Westport, April 18. Ah industrial agreement was signed to-day by delegates from tho mines at Denniston, Millerton, and Stockton, and representatives of the Westport Coal and Wcstport-Stookton Companies. The agreement is for a period of twelve months, and grants 10 per cent, advanco to all .members of the unions, whether above- or below ground, and other small concessions. Explosives remain at tho same price as prior to tho war during the currency of the agreement.
