ANZAC DAY
(To" the Editor.) Sir,—l read in jour issue of this day that by_ cable it is reported that Anzac Day is in- memory of the heroic attack of the Anzacs, and quite riahtly. But what of the heroes of Y Beach and Moroto Bay? I 'am sure' the Anzacs would not like to be praised at the expense, of their heroic British comrades.' Would it not be a graceful act on the part of the Prime Minister and the' Defence Minister to cable the Anzacs are hoping, and would consider it an honour, to be with their British comrades, and share with the 29th Division and Naval Division the honours of the attack? Could not also the Prime Minister cable to the Prime Minister and Defence Minister of, Australia, or to England,- to the same effect? I hope this will be done before it is top late.—-I am, etc., ■ANZAC.
