SEVEN- CASES-TWO DEATHS.

Seven cases of infantile paralysis, two of them fatal, were reported to the District Health Office yesterday. I'lie notifications were as follow: —Manaia, 1 case; Palmerston, 1; Feilding, 1; Wellington, 2; Tenui (Wairarapa), 1; Rangituniau (near Masterton) 1. The fatal cases were those from the Wairarapa; and the patients were little children. The Wellington cases are in the Newtown districts. <

The Greytown case of infantile paralysis has so far improved, says our correspondent, that the child about to be discharged from tlie hospital. '

ANOTHER DEATH AT MASTERTON. By Telegraph—(Special Correspondent.) Masterton, April 17. The infant child of-Mr. W. F. M'Claren, of Te Rangitumau, has succumbed to infantile' paralysis. A child has also been admitted to hospital from Tenui suffering from the disease.
