His Excellency tho Governor has approved of the following resignations, appointments, and transfers of the New Zealand Staff and undermentioned Territorial units:— NEW ZEALAND STAFF CORPS. The undermentioned officers are attached to tho New Zealand Staff Corps (dated February 13, 191G): — Captain Samuel Mackay M'Gee, V.D., Retired List, District Accountant, Canterbury District. . Captain Sydney Trask, Reserve of Officers, District Accountant, Wellington District. Hon. Captain Arthur White, District Storekeeper, Canterbury District. Hon. Captain Owen Paul M'Guigan, District Storekeeper, Otago District. Hon. Lieut. Robert Henry Williams, Assistant Director of Equipment and Stores. Hon. Lieut. F. E. Ford, District Storekeeper, Wellington District. Douglas Gordon Hunter, District Accountant, Otano District, is granted tho honorary rank of lieutenant, and is attached. TERRITORIAL UNIT CHANGES. ■'First Mounted Rifles (C.T.C.)—CaptRobert Macartney,, from the N.Z. Forces Motor Service Corps to be captain (temporary). Bth (South Canterbury) Mounted Rifles—Charles Leslie Orbell, to be 2nd-lieutenaiit on probation. 12th (Otago) I)loiinted Rifles —2ndLieutenant Samuel Barr Paterson, having been struck off the strength of tho New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is absorbed in the establishment. Corps N.Z. Engineers (N.Z. Railway Battalion, South Island)—Sergt.-Major iseil M'Leod llatheson, to be 2nd-lieu-tenant on\probation. N.Z. Army " Service Corps—Lieut. Frederick A. Macdonald is transferred to the 16tli (Waikato) Regiment. 4th (Otago) Regiment—Capt. Richard Jones, having been struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Foi;ces, is absorbed into tho establishment.

6th (Hauraki) Regirii ent—2nd-Liout. (on probation), James William R. Penney has resigned from his appointment. 9th (Hawke's Bay) Regiment—Major Geo. W. Cockroft, absorbed. 13th (North Canterbury-Westla'nd) Regiment—Thos. Sbankland, to be 2n.*. lieutenant (temporary), vice 2nd-Lieut. Maiming, who is with the N.Z. Expeditionary Forces, j" N.Z. Medical Corps—Captain David Storer Wylie and Captain Hugh Thos. Dyke Ackland, to be majors during the war..;
