Mails for dispatch by steamers will close at 8 p.m. on the previous evening, and. the only dispatches of correspondence by trainß will close on Good Friday as foUow:—For the Wairarapa, I Hawke's Bay, Manawa-tu, Uangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 5.45 a.m.; for Auckland end Auckland district at 8 a.m. The city and suburban receivers will not be cleared during the day, but the midnight clearances will be made as usual. There iviil not ho any deliveries by letter-carriers on Good Friday, but on Thursday, April 20, the' Carriers' Department (upstairs from Feathereton Street) will be open for the delivery of correspondence addressed to streets in the city and suburbs from 8 to 9 p.m.; -also the public counter for the delivery of correspondence addressed to the Post Office will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. The parcels delivery counter will be open <rom 8 to 9 pin On Easter Monday, April 24, the Chief Post Office will bo open in all its branches .(except Money-order and Savings-bank) from 9 to 10 a.m. Mails for dispatch by steamers will close at 8 a.m., and the only dispatches of correspondence by trains will close as .follow;— For the Wairarapa, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, Rangitikci, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 5.45 a-.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district, at 8 a.m. Thero will be no delivery of correspondence by letter carriers in the city or suburbs,' but on Saturday, April 22, the letter carriers will make a full delivery in the city and suburbs in the afternoon, for which correspondence must be posted at the Chief Post Office by 1.40 p.m. The Letter-carriers' Department (upstairs from Featherston Street) will be open i"rom 8 to 9 p.m. on Saturday for the delivery of correspondence addressed to streets' in the city and suburbs.
