Several of the Trafalgar Square rioters were lightly fined at Bow Street, thp Magistrate advising them to "leave these idiots alone in future." , [Miss Sylvia Pankhurst organised the Trafalgar Square demonstration, and headed tho procession of the Workers' Suffrage Federation, in which was car-' ried a banner inscribed "Coercion is not government." The crowd, suspecting that the demonstration was connected with the peace movement, rushed the Square, seized and tore up the ' banners and flags, hustled -those in the procession, and threw red and yellow ochre in the faces of the speakers, and then bags of flour. The speakers hastily retreated, and the crowd, led by Australian soldiers, sang tho National Anthem.] •' .■ ■ i
