■ The burlesque football match to be held st the Athletic Park on Saturday- promises,to be a great.success. Tho ladies who are to play a team picked from the Trentliam Camp are training energeticlily. Capt. Bell has the soldiers' team well in hand., His Excellency the Governor and tlie Countess of Liverpool have extended their patronage! and so also have , the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers, His Worship the Mayor and City councillors, Brigadier-General Kobin, Colonel Potter (Camp Commandant), Surgeon-General' ; Henderson, ' Lieut.-Col. Pilkington, and. officers of the .Wellington District. The proceeds ara to be demoted to the , N.Z. Natives' Association Fund, for. the Sick ; and' Wounded, and also ipart to tho -band's new uniform fund, •" -.- ■ i : .
