SOLDIERS' ROOM

THE CALL FOB ASSISTANCE.

Prompt response to the call for funds has been made by a number of sympathisers with that admirable institution, the Soldiers' Room, Sydney Street. Particulars of the Soldiers' Room and the entertainment and recreation provided there for our troops when thsy tcomo to the City were published recently in The Dominion, and at the same time an appear was made for additional funds. The Soldiors' Room grows in popularity; thousands of troopers enjoy them-' 1 selves there each week, and the cost of the upkeep grows with the added numbers who are made the' welcome guests of the ladies who founded the big Club Room.
