NEED FOR ECONOMY
A SELF-RELIANT POLICY URGED. By Tcletrraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, April 10. The Patriotic Association to-day resolved:—"That, in view of statements made by a responsible Minister of the Crown in England, as to the urgent necessity for economy iu order that the whole of the resources of the country may be available for conducting the war, this association urj>es the Government to adopt a self-reliant policy, and to find within New Zealand the money required for war expenses, and so. relieve the Imperial Government of the necessity of lending us the necessary funds."
