Rua and his son, handcuffed together, had to walk through the bush. Constable Neil has 48 pellets and Constable Ebbett.3B pellets to be removed. WOUNDED CONSTABLES AT ROTORUA. ■ By Telegraph-Press Association. Rotorua, April 6. The wounded constables reached Rotorua by'iiiotor at 5 o'clock this evening from Ruatahuna, whither they wereable to ride from. Mauugapohatu. They are doing remarkably well, and walked from the cars to Nurse Castle' 6 hospital. The main body, with Rua and live other prisoners, marched - afoot from Mauugapohatu to Ruatahuna, and thence coached to Muripara. They are expected to reach Rotorua to-morrow afternoon.
