WOUNDED ANZACS IN ENGLAND
MILDER WEATHER ACCELERATES . RECOVERY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, April 4. The recovery of tlie wounded Australians and New Zealanders lias been accelerated by the milder weather, and as a result the number remaining in the hospitals has been greatly reduced. Recently there were 500 at Harefield; now thero aro 200. Many of the permanently unfits are returning home. The training depots are filling. When tlie Anzacs resume fish ting, possibly the drafts of wounded will not be brought to England, but will bo placed in hospital in the South of France. It is understood that the British authorities favour this course, as it tvill leave -the English hospitals solely at the disposal of tlio British wounded. The' Australian and New Zealand mcdical officers ■ are inclined to consider that tho treatment of Anzacs in England in summer will be more beneficial than elsewhere
