MASTERTON NOTES
-« George Henry Lyiioh', of Masterton, formerly of Hawera, haß been adjudicated bankrupt. No fewer tban eighty-eight motorcars and seventy-soven motor-cycles were registered in Masterton during the twelve months ending March 31. Building permits to th© value of £6945 were issued by the Masterton Borough Council during the month of March. The Hon. Dr. M'Nab and Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P., have beon invited to_ accompany the Prime Minister and deliver recruiting addresses in Masterton/ on Tuesday night. Rain fell in Masterton on seventeen days during the month of March, the total' rainfall being 2.95 indies. Owing to the inability to procure a regular supply of instruments, the Masterton brancli of the British and Continental Piano Company ie to be closed down next week. . The club also decided to hold two days' racing in the spring and one in the autumn, instead of two in the autumn and one in the spring.
