AWARDED THE VICTORIA CROSS By Telegraph—Prese Association—Copyright London, March 31. A Victoria Cross has been awarded Sub-Lieut. Arthur Tisdall, in connec. tion with the River Clyde _ landing at Gallipoli. He made four trips between the ship and the shore, rescuing men under heavy fire. Lieut. Tisdall was subsequently killed. Petty Officer Perring and Seamen Malia.and Parkinson have been awarded the conspicuous gallantry medal for assisting Lieut. Tisdall. ;
