WHAT At CHRISTCHURCH DENTIST 3A.YS ABOUT HIS STUDEBAKER, ■Vfe have made big claims Tor baker'car on the score of ite reliability. its simpliHry, and the ease with which it can' bo driven. The following letter, ad--dressed to us by Mr. B. Cowper, surgeon- • dentist, of this city, demonstrates the kind of servipe the Sfsulebako: will give in tho hands of an owner who iiif had comparatively little driving experience Mr. Cowper purohased a Studebaker oar ns on November 30th last, and his firse lengthy tour was one in the North Island during the recent Christmas and Nei* Year holidays. Concerning his experiences on tut tour, Mr. Cowper writes :- "Ju't a few-lines to tell you how thoroughly satisfied I am .'with my. StudebaKcr car. As you know, I took it away, with me to the North Island, and went in all about 1200 miles, over all the bis hills up in the north. Going from Wol. lwton through to Napier over the Riiuu. takas, across to Palmcrstoii, Wanganui, - and New Plymouth, and back to Wellington ■ over the famous Paekakanki Hill, the car took all the big hills with the ereatost ease, and- did not give mo .the sluihtcst anxiety. All that distanco it was not touched by anyone save to give it petrol and oil, and we did not even hav« to put wind into the tyres. Yon will be surprised to hear that I brought the car over the Zig-zag from Lyttelton xo Sumner, which savs something fo» the car and the way'"you taught me to drive." The Studebaker driven by Mr. (.-owner was, of course, equipped with clectrio iielf-starter and electric lights. Tho new 1916 model Studebakers will bo to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next week. The prices of the new models are:—2s h.p. five-senter (including electrio lelf-starter, electric lights, and full ruadequipment), .£315; 25 h.p. thrce-seater (same equipment), JE335.
