LIVE STOCK SALES
: Messrs. TV. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly sale in their Waipoua, yards (Masterton) on Wednesday, when they offered a goijd yarding of sheep and cattle. Competition was very keen throughout the sale, consequently a food clearance was made, at the following prices:—Two-tooth ewes, 295. 9d.; twotooth wethers, tie. 9d. to 225. Bd.; two and four-tooth ewes, 225.;', four, six, and eiglittooth ewes, 245. W.: s.m. ewes, 225. Id.; four-year ewes, 21s. id.; f.m. ewes,• 16s. sd. to 206.;. low-condition ewes (f.m,), 12s. 6d. to 12s. 10d.; forward ewes, 20s. 6d.; b.f. lambs, Ms. 9d.; shorn lambs, 14s. Cattle: iVo-yoar eteers, £7 Is.; eifht«on-month steers, £5 la.; yearlini; heifers, 355.; fat cows, £9 13s. 6d.
