BURNSIDE RAM & EWE FAIR
By Telegraph—Press Association. . Dunedin, March 30. The annual ram : and ewe fair at Euniside attractoxl a good attendance, and a bigger entry than usual,, but many animals were inferior. Many pens of Romney Marsh, Border Leicester, and flock rams were practically passed over, the supply largely exceeding the demand. Prices were very irregular. Romney Marsh stud rams sold well; 28 guineas was realised in two cases/ and other prices wore 20, 19, 18, 17$, and 1G guineas, down to the vicinity of five guineas. Romney Marsh Hock rams made 2J to 4J- giiinoas, and Border Lsicesters s!i guineas downwards. Corriedale flock rams were in demand for a while, but buyers' wants were soon met, prices being .mainly about 3i guineas, but-7 guinoas was paid in two or three cases, while the top price was 11 guineas.
