"MRS BLACK IS BACK.*'. This famous 6tago : comedy, by George V. Hobart, has been adapted to the Ecreon by the Famous- Players Co. - in four reele of, it is said, the most humorous happiness imaginable.: The story m brief is:—Mrs. Black, formerly a plump end good-natured widow, tells her husband that her age is 29 instead of 3D, thus r.eatly'. knocking off seven years, from the Fum total. To further convince him of her vouth, she tells him also that her ton John (whom he has never seen) _is acred ten, when in. reality "little Johnny" is" a lustv young fellow of 17, at school in England. The professor has to curb his. imp?tienoe to sec "his son," and meanwhile vents his fondness in buying toys for "the child." There are many highlyhilarious complications before the picture comes to an end, with a laugh as all good comedies do. The available water power of the United States, , excluding- Alaska,, amounts to more than 28,000,00 power, of which approximately 7,000,000 or 25 per cent, has been developed.
