MAKING MUNITIONS
NOT TO BE TRIED HERE.
A little whilo ago the Wellington Harbour Board offered the Minister of Munitions what facilities they possessed which might be of -use in the manufacture of munitions.
At last evening's meeting of the boards the chairman (MK C. E. Daniell) stated that the Minister had written to say that, after having given the matter full consideration, it had been decided not to try to manufacture munitions here.
