LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
THE LAMBTON PLATFORM. . Sir, —Would you please allow me a little space in The Dominion to draw die attention of those responsible to the state of the Lambton Railway Station platform. On Sunday afternoon it was' in.. a filthy condition. I thought "No smoking on the platform" was in force; if not, it ought to be. Dogs also are allowed to roam at will with the usual results. In the close atmosphere, a liorrid, sickening smell riseß from the floor. No wonder so much sickness amongst children. Ihey are right down in it. The platform should he well hosed down twice a day, and fleeted. 77k> carriages on the Hutt section too could do with a good clean up.—l am, etc., A TRAVELLER.
