SAILORS FRIEND SOCIETY
There was a large.attendance at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening to enjoy a programme, of music by Miss Sussex and party. Competitions were held at intervals. The temperance Question'was tho subject of a short address by the Missioncr (Mr. Moore). At the ciose of an enjoyable evening a hearty vote of thaliks 'to tho performers was carried, and responded to by Mr. Sussex. Itoms were rendered by Misses Basire, Dormer, Evans, Mr. Cubic, and Miss O'Neill, Mr. Bennett, and Master Cable, Messrs. Whiting, Potter, Hosier, and Craig (Makarini); accompanists, Mrs. Biomly Hill, and Mr. Hftig.
