'AGREEMENT WITH EMPLOYEES.

At tie recent- conference, held in Masterton between the Dairy Factory owners and the representatives of the employees, 'an;:agreement 1 was arriyed at b.v- mutualiconsent, -which it* - was hoped "would : remove , any misunderstandings that might exist, but it now transpires that a portion of the agreement, as published, does not meet with the approval of the factory 7 owners. " this is "That the office, of the Workers' Union shall be the employment bureau at which the register of all members of the -union will .be kept." ~, Tho. employers do not objeot to the' union running a bureau, but they have a decided' aversion to being compelled to "obtain-employees only through the unions;
