WAIWETU CLUB'S SEASON OPENED. The official opening of the Waiwetn Golf Club's season took place on Saturday afternoon, when a match was played between teams picked by the president (Mr. R. C. Kirk) and the captain (Mr: A. J. Hobbs). A win for the captain's team was recorded.
The president, in his opening remarks, referred to the large number of members (21) now on active service. The links were in very fair order, and will be much improved when the dry spell is over.
