• -Messrs. Company, Minited, report having "held, a,monthly eole at Otolti yards on Tuesday: when, they .offered a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle. Competition all round; wa6 good, and at the end of the day they succeeded in disposing of most of their entry under tho hammer. The principal sales were as under:—Poor-conditioned s.m. ewes, 16s. lid. to 17s: 7d.; medium lambs, lis. 4d. to 125.; cull lambs, ss. 9d. "ta 6s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Limited, report having' held, a heavy yarding of . sheep and a medium entry of cattle at the Levin yards on Wednesday. Competition for all.lines of sheep offered was good, and as the yarding contained lines of quality,-excellent prices were Tecorded. The demand for male cattle was strong, but- heifers wero slightly neglected. The' principal sales we're as under:—Store twotooth wethers, 225. 6d. to 2Js.; s.m. breeding ewes, 17s. Id., 20s., 1 295. Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report at their Peilding sale held on March 17:—We had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. ■ Good sheep sold well, but inferior sorts were hard to anil.
