It is intended to hold a biV recruiting rally in Newmarket, Auckland, this week, at which the Prime Minister will probably speak. The Right Hon. W. P. Massoy has telegraphed to Mr. J. b. Dickson, M.P., us follows•—"The Hon. Air. Allen has seen me with respect to the meeting at Newmarket. I will be in the Auckland district at the beginning of the week. Am fully engaged for Monday and Tuesday, but if public duties permit me to stay until Wednesday, wdl ha pleased to spo/ik at Newmarket that nirjiit." Mr. Dickson has telegraphed to the Prime Minister, stating that a combined meeting has been arranged under the auspices of the Newmarket Borough Council, and the Epsom and One-tree Hill Poad Boards, and it was hoped to have all tlio other authorities in Eden County assisting.
