WHARF-WORKERS OUTING
PICNIC AT BELMONT PARK,
The Wellington Waterside Workers* Union held their annual picni? and gports gathering at Belmont Park yesterday. It is estimated that some 1300 adults and as 'many children participated in the day's outing, and favoured as they were with the best of weather a record day's enjoyment was had. The children were each presented with a toy and races were held in which they could take part. Cricket and dancing were features' of the sports, tvhile the union's band saw to the supply of music.
