Major H. F. Davis presided' lit a meeting of representatives of the various Uffits_of the National .Deserve in the No. 5 (Wellington) group ] as t opening. The object of tho meetincr to discuss the question of lioldiii" a National Reserve" Camp at Easter" .those present wore almost' unanimously in favour of the idea, and it was riocided that such a "camp should bn hold, at a place yot to bo decided, most probably at Karori. It was arranged that the officers and men of Wie National Reserve, without restriction as to number, should go into camp on the Thursday evening preceding fjrood Friday, and remain thero until JSastor Monday afternoon, when camp Would bo struck. The services of Captain Steolo as instructional officer would bo available, ' and the camp would bo conducted on strict military lines, with n rigid programme ol duties for each day. On Easter Emnday it is proposed to hold a church parade. Members of the National Reservo, who aro desirous of getting a litMo real training at tho hands of oxporionccd men will wolcomo tho idea of tho camp, tho cost of which will only ho £1 per head for tho wholo iimo "spoilt under canvas.
