SALVATION ARMY SERVICES

One of the most important services arranged for in connection with the annnni congress of the Salvation Army is the momorial meeting to the soldiers who have fallen in the v-ar. This'ivill take place, in the Town Hall on Sunday evening, April 2, and will ho conducted by. Commissioner Hodder, as* sistod by National Headquarters Staff and a largo number of visiting officers. The Town Hall will lie effectively draped, ami excellent music ami singing will bo {i great feature of tlio meeting. Four other important meetings will also he hold in the Town Hall, the Army's own buildings having proved too small to contain the crowds on the occasion of previous congresses. One evening the six bonds—Chvistclnirch, Feikling, 'Gisborne, Palmerstnn North, Wellington C-it.v, and Wellington South—will give an .excellent programme, supported by vocalists and others, and the social annual meeting'will also take place on another evening. In addition, t.hc- everpopular Young People's Festival will lie bold in this building, in all live public gatherings taking place in this building.
