The picture of the crypt when the absolution was given was a' strikingly impressive one.. with, for frame, the"Benedictine monks in their habits. The breaking of the deathlike silenco came as a Telief. The Empress smiled upon and bowed to all before slowly ascending the steps of the crypt and re-enter-lng her motor-car. She looked in the best of health and walked about the mausoleum with a firm step.
