Y.M.C.A. NATIONAL WAR FUND

THE £25,000 CAMPAIGN,

The effort of the Y.M.C.A. to reach £25,000 for its war work is meeting with a satisfactory response. The following additional subscriptions have been received since the publication of last week's list in The Dominion, During the week tho following amounts were receive;:! per the Wairarapa Patriotic Committee, and were included in last Saturday's acknowledgment of £370 ss. H. H. Bpetham, Brancepetli, £200; Mr. W. H. Bcciham, Masterton, £100; Mr. IV. Rayncr, Masterton, £105 (proceeds of sale of ram). The amount of £364 noted below from the Mow Plymouth Patriotic Committee includes £250 from that society, with £57 donations from New Plymouth and the Patriotic Society's £ 'for £ subsidy £ s. d. ENORMOUS TASK IN THE FIELD, CABLEGRAM FROM EGYPT. By Telegraph-Press Association. Christchuroh, March 3. The Esbenda Gar. dens arc being extended, 'and a large new scheme for a' hostel and club for troops is being arranged. Unlimited extension of the work in all the camps' can be carried out, and is wanted immediately. Financial control is satisfactory."
