Tlio Rev. Mr. Chappell, supporting the motion "that tho Government should establish a strict censorship over all pictures before they were screened at the various picture theatres," said that a picture theatro manager hid informed him that 011 account of the morbid nature of a picture jvluch had been passed by the censor he would not allow it to no shown. OTHER BUSINESS. The Rev. T. F. J9MS was appointed Secretary of Foreign Missions Committee. The Rev. Sinclair inoyed that the election of president and secretary of the conference be at the conference at which they take office. This was viously submitted to the Synod, and supported by five, and objected to by four. The resolution was carried by 83 votes to 62.
