WIMMERA FROM MELBOURNE. The Huddort-Pa.rker steamer Wimmera is expected hero from Melbourne ajid Hobart about uoon on Friday. She brings 54 passengers and somo 700 tons of cargo to discharge here. She will leave again for the Australian ports, via the south, on Saturday, at 5 p.m. ' RIVERINA FOR SYDNEY TO-DAY. Mr. Sherson, late purser of the Oorinna, has joined the Maori in a 6imilar capacity, relieving Mr. Norman, who will joiin the Moana to-day. Mr. T. Cabled advice received yesterday reported that the Manuka, which left- Wellington at midnight on Thursday last, arrived at Sydney at 3 o'clock on Tuesday. The Wakatu, which arrived yesterday morning from Lyttelton and Kaikoura, left last evening for Foxton. She is expected back at this port to-raorrow r , and if tides are favourable will liktko another trip to Foxton before resuming her southern running.
