MARTYRDOM OF NURSE CAVELL
; A; private view, of the motion picture, '-irhe Martyrdom of Nurse Cavell," was given at the ' King's' Theatre yesterday afternoon, in the presence of representatives of the Government, the City Council, Patriotic Society, St. John. Ambulance, War league, Anti-German League, matron and nurses of the Hospital, several clergymen, and representatives of the Press, jlr. Henry .Hayward, in presenting the picture, expressed the hope that it would'help to stimulate patriotism, in recruiting as well as at homo, and would help to bring hoijie tQ the .people the 1 terrible inhumanity of the enemy. ..There, is •an ..excellent story in the film "apart' from the work and untimely death of' the heroic nurse, and some fine views of stricken Belgium under : German rule are, shown. . The whole subject is treated with sympathetic feeling. The picture will be shown to the sublic nil next week, commencing on Jionday liesf'At the King's Theatre;
