A £1000 CAR FOR 5/-
A Sizaire Berwick motor-car, valued at .£IOOO, has been donated to the Danncirko Patriotic Society by Messrs. Bower and Eric Knight, and the society lias decided to dispose of tho cur by art union, to be drawn on March 31. The car is a 20-hoi'se-power tlve-seater, 1910 model, complete with' hood, screen, clecIric light, and selfßtartci'. Tho drawing is to take place under the supervision of, Mr. CI. Hunter, M.P., Mr. E. A. Ransom, Mayor of Dannevirke, and Mr. Ji\ W. Cowper, chairman of the Dannevirke County Council. The art union is in tho interests of the Southern - Hawke's Bay Wounded Soldiers' and Dependents' Fund, and tickets can be obtained from the secretary of tjic Dannevirke Patriotic Society Art Union, Box 80, Dannnvirte.
