Y.M.C.A. NATIONAL WAR FUND

A STEADY RESPONSE.

The opportunity for Y.JI.C.A. work, especially among our soldiers in Egypt, is unlimited. Mr. E. It. Peacock, who with Messrs. W. H. George and W. G. Jamieson (Christchurch) is a Y.JI.C.A. Commission investigating Y.M.C.A. work in the East, cablcs that the growth of the Association's work is so enormous that if prospective plans are to be carried out the original estimate of funds needed for carrying 011 the work must be greatly Augmented. The Egypt National Council, he states, is an exceptionally strong one, and commands supreme confidence Mat moneys sent through its agency will be wisely, economically, and cxj)editiously oxpended 011 the present and immediate , needs of our soldiers. '
