KARORI BOROUGH COUNCIL

ORDINARY MEETING.

At Tuesday's meeting of the Karori Borough Council, the Mayor (Jlr. B. G. H. Burn) presided, and there were also present: Councillors K. Faire, T H.. Lewer, J. G. Knine, J. AV. Henderson, W. C. Cooper, R. T. Pell. Accounts amounting to £2ou lis. 3d. wore passed for payment. The Borough Engineer, in his fortnightly report, stated that the steam wagon had not done any work since February 10. on which date it broke down while carting metal. He recommended that the wagon bo laid up until a reliable report could be obtained as to the advisability of repairing it or otherwise. It was resolved that tho I'Gcommondation hp agreed to.
