\ —' Sir,—Your correspondent "Diogenes," writing re early closing of hotels, waxes very indignant at tho fact that tho meeting of citinens to discuss the question did not publish tho names of those concerned in the movement. I cannot find anyone named "Diogenes" in tho Wellington directory, so would like to ask is this the' same old man who lived in a tub, or can it be that he, also, deliberately withholds his truo name? Certainly he may live in a tub; a glass- house might not be safe.— 1 am, etc., DAE-K HORSE.
