AN INQUEST.
, Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., held an inquest yesterday concerning the death of Morton Kegels.Stowe Clark, who died suddenly at liis* residence, Goring Street, last week. The medical evidence showed that death was due to heart disease, and a verdict, was returned accordingly. A FARMER KILLED. (Br Telwr-".r, i'n- . .„pnv Ekatatiuna. February 21. Simon Hoddinott, aged 45, a farmer, recently of the Rangitikei, was with his son felling a dry tree r>n Saturday evening, when he was struck by the tree or a loose limb, and received fatal injuries. He leaves a widow and a young family. DROWNED WHILE BATHING. Auckland, February 21. A schoolboy named Bert Humby was drowned at -Avondale while batliing to-dav. His parents lesftle at Avondale. Deceased got out of his denth and his body was found in ten feet of water.
