SIX O'CLOCK HOTEL OLOSING 0) WELLINGTON.In consequence of the continued and growing interest of public sentiment in favour of the closing of hot-el bars and club bars during war time, a preliminary meeting of citizens was held yesterday morning to consider the best means of furthering this end here. After some discussion it was decided to hold a further meeting on Friday for the purpose of going into the details of a scheme to be placed before the public at an early date with a view to securing the co-operation of all classes of the community in an organised movement to achieve an object which it is felt is in the best interests of our soldiers. ■ HOW THE PLAN IS WORKINC IN SYDNEY.
