FINDING OF THE MARINE COURT

' , The_Marlno Court has delivered judg- i ment in tho case of the P. and 0. linet 1 Socotra, ' which was wrecked on the 1 French coast, near Boulogne. 1 The Court found that the disaster 1 was due to the master's neglcct to 1 take adequate steps to ascertain and 1 verify the position of tho- vessel, and 1 not ftiaking allowances for tho tides 1 and currents, or intelligent use of soundings. Tho captain, however, had ; a good record.
