Hie Defence Minister has received news of tin Tumiplling Corps in tns following telegram from the High Commiesionor; —"Major Oilman reports Mat tho Inspector of tho Royal Engineers iijcrhly complimented the Tunnelling Company. He states that they are quite fit for the front, and are now only awaiting equipment." . "This is the biggest feather in our cap," said tho Defence Minister, referring'to the new on Saturday. It is n Rreat coinplircwnfc to the officers and men of the corps, and it is a proof that the course of training undergone bv these men in this country was sound and thorough.
