•The following report of the Hospital Committee, was adopted 1 :— "That an imniediate claim for £272 6s. for alterations in conversion of building to be used as a ward for treatment of delirium tremens cases has been sent to tlio Department of Public Health, Hospitals, and Charitable Aid. "That instructions have been issued prohibiting German-made goods being obtained lor use at the hospit-.il and its institutions.

"Ihat plans have been submitted, and the ponsent of the Minister of Public Health obtained, for the aftcrations and additions (estimated to cost £350) to the administrative ward, Seddon Shelters. This will mako provision for the accommodation of fourteen additional advanced consumption cases. "That the request of the InspectorGeneral of Hospitals be granted in making a uuiform charge for treatment of soldiers at tho Out Patients' Department, viz., 2s. Gd. for iirst attendance and Is. for each subsequent attendance.

"'lllat a sub-cdmmittee, comprising Messrs. H. Baldwin, D. Campbell, J. Smith, and Rev. H. van Staveren, bo deputed to. confer with representatives of the Wellington Education Board to consider whether remedial action can taken In connection with ths report of tho dental examination of the children attending Newtown School. "That authority be granted the acting medical superintendent to purchase new instruments (up to £20) for tho general operating theatre, and that Dr. Barclay be empowered to pufchaso surgical instruments and appliances up to tlie value of £100'."
