ONSLOW BOROUGH COUNCIL
9 ' - At last night's meeting of the Onslow Borough Council the Mayor (Mr. C. C. Crump) presided, and there were also present; Councillors J. G. Smith, A. E. Budd, J. M. Dale, J. C. Gardner, A. W. C. Palmer, L. A. Browne, H. Brentori Rule, and C. Bowden. Acoounts. amounting to £381 6s: lOd. were pissed for payment. It was decided that all rates outstanding after February 19 should be subject to a, fine of 10 per cent., and that legal proceedings should be taken to recover rates not paid after the customary notice has been given. !
Two applications' for the position of junior cl«rk were referred to the Finance Committee. . ..
