Bd-; forir-tooth to f.f.m. ewes, 225. M. and 235.; mixed two-tooths, to 2Js. 5d.; twotooth ewes, to 265.; weaner heifere, 375. 6d.; bulls, to £4; 'store cows, £3 18s. to £5; fair empty cows, to £6 55.; cows and calves, to £7; fat cows, to £9 ss.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams report that they held a. successful clearing sale on account of Mrs. E. Burling at her Glencoe Station on Monday. There woe a very large, attendance of buyers, and bidding ; was animated throughout. All the stock came forward in tip-top order. 7EO two-tooth wethers made 235.; 71 cull twotooth wothars, 20s. 3d.; 2W five-year ewes .made :20s. Id.;-124 cull five-ycjir ewes, 16s. •5d.; ■ 282 'ewe-lambs. lEb. 5d.; 242 wether lambs, "155.; 95 cull lambs, 9s. id.; 50 P.A. covrs and .calves, £10 l&s.: 30 P.A. cows and calves, £10 75.; 20 P.A. cows and calves, £9. 55.; 16 two-year S.H. empty .hcifors, £6 35.; 6 bulls made from 7 to MJgns.; 9 horses., were sold from to £15.

Dunedln, February 15. Only 102 fat cattle were yarded at Burnside to-day. , The entry was much too small for requirements, and , prices advanced £1- per bead. Best bullocks, £16 10».; extra, prime, .to £20 7s. 6d.; '.medium to good, £14 Ife. to £15 10s.; befit cowe and heifers, £13 to £15; extra prime, to £16 10s.; medium to good, £11 to £12 10s. The entry of fat sheep was also small, totalling UEO. There were brisk eales, prices advancing 16. to 2s. Owing to the high prices freezing buyers were unable to operate to any extent. Best wethers, 28s. to 325.; extra priroe, to 365.; medium to good, 245. to 26e. 6d.; light, 18s. 6d. to 21s. , 6d.; best owes, 255. to 28S|; extra prime, to 335.: medium to good, 21s. to Ms.; light and unfinished, 15s. to 17s. 6d. Fat Lambs.—49o were penned. . For finished sorts, competition woa good at late rates, but unfinished were somewhat neglected, and salos dilScult to effect.
