Tl Regis. '22.61 45.54 20.94 10.91 'THE.NEW ZEALAND DIVISION,. STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER;- ' The Minister of Defence (the Hon. J;. illan) made a further reference yester- • Jay to tho reorganisation, of. the' New Zealand forces and the creation of a .Sew Zealand Division by. the; fornation of an additional brigade.- "The /wnstitutioii of tho Division ~has; been Authorised," he said, ''andj'an:''extra brigade will be inado up of surplus reinforcements which are available at • the front and other units there. The reinforcements will require a larger number of infantry, but this will bo made up 'by a reduction in the reinforcements in some other-units." The question of tho reorganisation of the artillery, he added, was still nnder consideration. It was probable .that they 1 might. .want some more personnel, the ; guns; being supplied by tho Imperial authorities. He thought it would probably. moan a few inoro men, but not ■ many, for tho main body, and it would ■ not call for any more reinforcements ■ than what they -were sending now.
