SOLWAY SHOW
As the opening day for the Masterton Show approaches, the expectation of breeders is being quickened, almost to the point of enthusiasm. The judges on this occasion will have no easy task, for tho pick of - the flocks of the North Island have been .entered. The produce display in tho agricultural hall will- also be one of the strongest ever made in the district, while tho competitions and other classes will be represented by the very best. A feature of the show will be the sheep dog trials. Additional interest is being lent to this - year's show by the fact that; a large number of troops from the Wairarapa camps ■ will ho present. The 'whole 'of . the arrangements for , the show -are'now. complete. Provision has been made for the picnic parties, in tho delightful piece of native bush which skirts the grounds, and the cater-, ing and train arrangements are reported' to be perfect. " Accommodation can bo secured by either writing or telegraphing to the secretary, Sir. J. B. Emmett.
